Opportunity for July 2024 Bar Examinees to Be Paid to Take the NextGen Prototype Bar Exam

The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) will conduct a nationwide prototype administration of the NextGen bar exam, which is currently under development and will debut in July 2026. The mock exam will take place on October 18–19 in Richmond.

On August 29, 2024, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board administratively suspended James Michael Mansfield’s license to practice law for failing to comply with a subpoena duces tecum issued by the Bar.

Michael Alan Yoder Suspension

Ordered September 9, 2024, and effective September 11, 2024, and pursuant to Rule 8.5 of the Virginia Rules of Professional Conduct, the Circuit Court for the City of Arlington suspended Michael Alan Yoder’s license to practice law. Order published.
