Family Law Section Welcomes Two New Ex-Officio Members to the Board
The Family Law Section of the Virginia State Bar welcomes two new members to the Board of Governors.
The Hon. Jonathan D. Frieden, judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court, joins as an ex-officio member and will serve as a Circuit Court representative and a member of the Judicial Subcommittee. Judge Frieden accepted his commission to the circuit court bench on April 12, 2024. Prior to his elevation to the circuit court, Judge Frieden served as a judge for the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court for more than four years. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Frieden practiced with the law firm of Odin, Feldman & Pittleman, P.C., in Fairfax County. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond School of Law.
Attorney Melissa A. Dragone joins the Board of Governors as a representative and liaison for the VSB Young Lawyers Section (previously known as the Young Lawyers Conference). Melissa is an attorney with Masterman Krogmann PC in McLean focusing on domestic relations. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University.
