October 16, 2024
Williamsburg Lodge

The VSB Annual Pro Bono Conference is a yearly educational, networking, and celebratory event co-hosted by the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Poverty Law Center that is focused on highlighting the need for pro bono service and empowering Virginia attorneys to contribute to the cause. This year, our theme is, "Building Pro Bono Culture and Infrastructure: Empowering Every Attorney to Serve.” Attendees will receive 6 hours of CLE credit, including 2 hours of ethics (pending).

The event will also feature the Pro Bono Awards Dinner & Celebration honoring Bryan Slaughter (2024 Lewis F. Powell Jr. Pro Bono Award recipient) and David Neumeyer (2024 Virginia Legal Aid Award recipient). A joint VSB/VPLC reception starts at 6 pm, followed by the dinner at 7 pm.

VPLC has kindly agreed to host the VSB Annual Pro Bono Conference registration on its Statewide Legal Aid Conference registration page. When registering, please make sure you select the VSB Pro Bono Conference from the list of options.

The deadline to register for this event is October 9 for in-person, and October 15 for virtual attendees. If you need a hotel room for the Conference, please fill out the Lodging Requests form by September 30.
