VSB Real Property Section Publishes Guide to Title Insurance
The Virginia State Bar Real Property Section has published A Title Insurance Guide for the Homebuyer for Virginians needing information about title insurance when purchasing a property. Title insurance protects owners if a title defect is discovered after purchase.
The Real Property Section addresses all aspects of real property practice and procedure in Virginia. The section regularly advises its members of changes in this area of law and increases the public's awareness of their rights and obligations related to ownership and transfer of real estate interest.
