Chair's Message



Simone T. Williams

As Chair of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS), I am honored and energized to lead such an impressive community of young lawyers during the 2025-2026 bar year. This year marks an exciting transition for our section as we move forward under our new name: the Young Lawyers Section. Change can present challenges, but it also opens the door to growth and reinvention. I am confident that we will navigate this transition with the same dedication that have long defined our members. Through thoughtful programming, pro bono service, mentorship, and civic engagement, we will continue to build a stronger bar and make a meaningful impact across the Commonwealth.

This year, as we navigate this new chapter together, I encourage each of you to embrace the opportunity to grow, to serve, and to lead. Our section will continue to develop innovative programming that meets the needs of our members, strengthens our profession, and uplifts our communities. We are committed to providing spaces where you can connect, contribute, and thrive.
