Effective June 1, 2023, the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board suspended Richard Louis Sloane’s license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The suspension was based on his indefinite suspension from the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Maryland on March 2, 2023. Sloane is ordered to appear before the Board on June 23, 2023, to show cause why the same discipline imposed in the other jurisdiction should not be imposed by the Board.
