Supreme Court of Virginia Amends Canons of Judicial Conduct, Rules 1:1A and 5A:35
On September 26, 2024, the Supreme Court of Virginia amended the Canons of Judicial Conduct, Canon 2H(1) – Service on boards of charitable, civic, religious, fraternal, or educational institutions and 2N – Avoiding governmental appointments except as pertain to improvement of the law, the legal system, or the administration of justice. (Effective immediately.) Read the Court’s Order.
