Free On-Demand CLE—Ethics for Local Government Chief Counsel

The Virginia State Bar regulates attorney conduct through a series of rules, regulations and opinions.  While all are important, this webinar will highlight some that are of particular importance to chief legal officers in their duties as both a lawyer to elected officials and the leader of staff who can find themselves stressed under the weight of the work. This webinar will review certain Rules of Professional Conduct and Legal Ethics Opinions that speak to the unique challenges such leaders face—including the health and wellness of staff and dealing with difficult situations—followed by “pro-tips” from a seasoned leader and County Attorney.

Speakers: Emily F. Hedrick, Ethics Counsel for the Virginia State Bar; Michelle R. Robl, Prince William County Attorney
